IMPORTANT: During the holidays, custom orders may require more time to manufacture due to an influx of orders. Please order ahead if you would like your sofa to arrive on time (7 - 10 weeks during holiday months, estimated). Thank you for your business, and happy holidays!
-Note for large items: When paying for large items, please provide a phone number with which you may be contacted. In the event that this item needs to be shipped via freight, the freight company will need to contact you in advance to schedule a delivery date and time. Expect items shipping by freight to arrive in 7 to 14 business days after leaving our warehouse. If no phone number is provided and the buyer cannot be contacted, we will request the on-file phone number from eBay, so please make sure that the information on eBay is up-to-date.
-Someone must be present at the time of delivery to assist the driver. If no one is present, the freight company may charge an additional fee. Before signing for the delivery, it is very important to inspect the package for any potential damage that may have occurred while in transit. It is normal for packaging to show some wear. However, if there is extensive visible damage to the item itself, refuse delivery and email us at sales@stendmar.com and we will handle the return or exchange. Our goal is to ship the item to you as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
-If your shipment requires the use of a vehicle apart from a truck (ex. Ferries, boats, or any other means that cause additional fees), additional charges will be applied to the order based on the costs of using any service required. Orders may also be subject to cancellation upon review.

-Important: Please know that we will not be liable for any damage or discrepancy after the package has been accepted with no notes about damages listed on the delivery form. NEVER SIGN THE DELIVERY FORM WITHOUT FIRST INSPECTING THE ITEM. SIGNING FREE AND CLEAR WILL RELEASE THE CARRIER FROM ANY DAMAGE LIABILITY. We will apply our warranty for parts and any hardware needed for the item. Any returns after the package has been accepted will be at the cost of the buyer, and refunds will not compensate for all original shipping costs.

- PLEASE INSPECT ALL PACKAGES BEFORE SIGNING THE BILL OF LADING FORM. NEVER SIGN THE DELIVERY FORM FREE AND CLEAR. NOTE ALL NECESSARY REMARKS ON THE FORM. WE WILL REPLACE ALL NECESSARY PARTS FOR YOU ACCORDING TO THE BILL OF LADING FORM. NO EXCEPTION*
- PLEASE DO NOT TAKE OFF FROM WORK UNTIL A DELIVERY APPOINTMENT IS SET. THE DATE PROVIDED FROM OUR EMAIL IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. THE MOTOR FREIGHT COMPANY WILL CALL IN ADVANCE TO ARRANGE DELIVERY TIME WITH CUSTOMERS. NO INSIDE DELIVERY IS PROVIDED. SOME ASSISTANCE MIGHT BE NEEDED WHEN A SHIPMENT IS DELIVERED.
- Once the Truck Reaches Your Delivery Address?
The item will be delivered from the rear of the truck with lift gate service. The customer will be required to accept and remove the merchandise from the lift gate area to customer’s residential area. Freight companies will NOT deliver inside the house.
Oversized items are heavy and often difficult to handle, so we strongly recommend that you have helpers available to assist with move-in and set-up.
- Before You Sign for the Delivery
Before you sign for the delivery, it is important to inspect the packages thoroughly for any potential damage that may have occurred during transit. - If there is Visible Damage to the Package's Contents
If there is visible damage to the contents of the package, refuse delivery on site and contact our Customer Service associate by calling 1-909-781-6608. Please have your order number available when you call. Your order number can be located on your invoice.
